Scope and Contents: Published and unpublished works on educational theory, practice, professional teachers organizations and teacher training. Collected by people in the Office of the President including Elizabeth Harrison, Edna Dean Baker, Rumah Crouse, Jean Carpenter and others. Includes works discussing education methods, child psychology, meetings of professional teachers organizations, the philosophy and methods of different schools, the International Kindergarten Association, Hull House, government reports, outlines of training programs for the Kindergarten Method and the Montessori Method and lesson plans.

Authors are numerous and varied, but major figures include Susan Blow, Rumah Crouse, Maria Montessori, the Committee of Fifteen, the National Kindergarten Association and Frau Louis Froebel.
